Meet Siberian Mischief.
What does your pet mean to you?
Skye Blue is my best friend and my spoilt little princess.
She has helped me get through hard times and I am so proud of how far she has come since I adopted her. She has gone from being afraid of people and other dogs to being a social butterfly with lots of friends – both human and dogs!
She is an amazing emotional support animal. She even has an advanced degree in Pet Therapy from Love On A Leash for working more than 50 hours with the elderly, which I am incredibly proud of her for.
She is always there for me, regardless of whether I am in a bad mood or not and she helps cheer up people at our local nursing home and gives them something to look forward to every week.
What do you think it means to be a pet owner?
Being a pet owner is a big responsibility, especially with this breed of dog! Siberian Huskies require a lot of attention, exercise and mental stimulation.
It is important to form a bond with your pet so that you can understand exactly what they need to be happy and healthy.
When a husky is bored, they will entertain themselves by chewing on whatever they can find… including the couch!
So before adopting a pet of any kind into your family, make sure you do your research so you know what to expect. It is also important to keep up to date with vet visits, and ensure that your pet has received their preventative medications and vaccinations that will help stop them from getting seriously ill.
What is the cheekiest thing she has done?
I was so angry at her the other day but she also made me laugh!
She didn’t want to go outside and do her business because it was extremely hot and humid so she peed right outside the door, turned around to come inside and then pooped right in the doorway!
If you could ask her one question, what would it be and why?
That’s a tough one! I guess I would ask “is there anything more I can do to make you happy?”, because I just want her to be the happiest pup in the whole world!
What is your favourite feature on Petbar?
I love that it’s ALL ANIMALS ALL DAY LONG!
When I need a break all I have to do is open up the app and see lots of cute pets on my screen that immediately make me smile.
